It must be spring

I can't keep my boys fed. DB has breakfast at home before school at 7:45am. Then he apparently has breakfast at school at 8:15am. THEN he has lunch at 10:30am. Then he has a snack sometime in there during school, and comes home famished, and I am unable to feed him enough. As soon as we are done with dinner, he asks what he can have for a snack. I have told him to knock it off, because if he continues this, he will be taller than me and people will think that I am the kid and he is the parent. SHEESH! And now that JT has started feeling better on the no-egg/peanut diet, he is contstantly wandering around the house making the sign and saying "more?" as cute as he can. He says it in a high voice and gives a big grin and shrugs his shoulders to be as adorable as possible so as to warrant another positive response. I read somewhere that most kids have a growth spurt in the spring, so I think that spring has sprung at my house.

Also, we have been fascinated with a little nest in the rose bush right outside the window of our toy room. Yesterday there was one little blue egg in it, and this morning there are two more eggs! The mother bird comes and goes, and I have found myself checking in on her and her little eggs everytime I walk past the toy room. DB wanted to go out there and bring the egg in (what a boy!) but I insisted that we leave her alone and maybe one of these days, we will be able to watch the babies hatch. That sparked his interest enough that hopefully he will leave this little nest alone. It is cool that it is right outside our window, and we should have a front row seat for the show! Yay for spring!

How fun is that to be able to watch eggs hatch, my kids would love it! Your poor baby, hopefully his skin will clear up now that you know what's wrong. Other than that it sounds like you guys are doing good!

I'm telling you...these boys will eat us out of house and home! I can't keep mine fed either. Hayes ate a Costco sized crate of strawberries in TWO DAYS! I guess I'll locking the pantry like Mary Ann did.
I laughed so hard when I read how DB will be taller than you if he keeps eating...it's inevitable that he'll be taller than you, but I guess you prefer that doesn't happen by age seven. :)

That is totally happeing at my house too. Wierd. Kids are so funny- one day I can't make them eat a thing and then the next they won't STOP. I would love to have a nest outside my window, that would be really neat.

That nest is cool! How exciting for you to watch that. I don't know much about bird eggs, but why is one of them a different color? Inquiring minds would like to know!

I'm guessing I'm going to be in the same boat with my soon to be three boys in a row. Garrett had three packages of oatmeal this morning for breakfast!! He can out eat Kate any day!
