Ben has started traveling to Page, AZ every week to service a Redbox machine there, and on Monday the boys and I hitched a ride with him and we FINALLY visited Lake Powell. We have lived in St. George for 3 years now, and have hardly visited any of the cool spots nearby, so I am very proud of us! We got a year long pass to Lake Powell, so we are planning on visiting there often this summer. Ben has to drive there every week, so why not? We would actually get paid to drive there. How cool is that? Dallin and I had fun walking over the bridge to view the Glen Canyon Dam.....Ben wouldn't go.....he has a hard enough time just driving over the thing! Dallin even wanted to jump from the bridge down to the boats we could see below! Yikes! Then we went to Lone Rock Beach, and it was really beautiful, but the water is still a bit cold so we will try again in a month or so. It should be hitting 100 degrees here in the next month, so that will help. It was a wonderful field trip!
