I don't have much to say after that amazing vacation, I guess. We have just been trying to get back to normal life, just in time to leave again! Yep, we are headed to Utah next week. We are driving. Heaven help us.
Anyway, lately we have been performing experiments in the kitchen to try to help our family be a healthier one. I have gotten a bit of resistance on this front, so every day is an adventure. DB asked me today if JT was allergic to EVERYTHING and if he was ever going to eat again. Sad. So I caved and we had waffles for dinner. Egg free of course...I substituted ground flax seeds for the eggs and it was yummy. The flax seeds made me feel a little better. If JT wakes up with bloody feet in the morning, I sure am going to feel like the worst mom ever, but man, those waffles were good. DB had 3, and JT had 2 1/2. JT begged me for oatmeal this morning too and I caved. hmmmmmm, man cannot survive on bread alone but if you ask my kids they just may disagree. It has been fun to serve more whole foods lately though. I have been watching Jamie Oliver's Food revolution, and I am on board. I have taken away the foods that have ingredient lists that sound more like ingredients in my shampoo than a menu item. That means goldfish are out. And fruit snacks. And almost anything a 2 year old likes to eat. Big changes are here people.
I have been reading a ton on homeschooling lately and am really debating taking DB out of school and giving it a go. It is very popular here in TN, and there would be a ton of support. It is just scary, and I am a public school advocate, but with the changes in the world and our country, it has started to appeal to me more and more. It seems that most people have very strong opinions one way or the other, and I seem to be the only one on the fence. hmmmmmmm.....
And last but not least, as you can tell by my playlist, I have found something that produces a feeling of glee in me. This shows music makes me so happy it is ridiculous. I can't even help but smile when I hear it. And you know me, I am not exactly a giddy person, but this show does make me giddy. hmm.

I'm so glad you're going so healthy! Good for you! I've seen food revolution a few times and I'm glad that my kids take a lunch to school--most of the time.
Good luck with deciding about home schooling. I've been on the fence about that before--it's a big decision! Good luck!
Have a fun trip!
Ben and I have been watching Food Revolution also! We've been buying a little more organic and also have looked into buying our meat from a local farmer.
OK, have you seen Food Inc.? Seriously made me almost puke. I am with you! I need to try the flax seed. I haven't needed to because we aren't dealing with allergies like y'all, but really!
Now, as far as home schooling, I'm too lazy :) Here in happy valley I don't worry as much.
