If 2009 left us like a lion, 2010 is coming in like a lamb for our family. Well, perhaps Ben would disagree. He has been super busy with work, so that is why I feel like our family is in "lamb" mode. We haven't had much happening with us mostly because I still refuse to take all three children with me by myself unless absolutely necessary. And I am not exaggerating....our fridge currently contains all of the usual condiments in the door and not much else. Let's see: 4 tortillas, 2 gallons of milk, some cocktail weiners that I forgot to make for Christmas, a can of crescent rolls (which will be used for dinner tonight, eggs, a red onion, lettuce and a cucumber that isn't looking so hot right now. I have had to get quite creative with dinners lately, let's just say that. Do you think I am going grocery shopping today? Nope. Ben is in Atlanta and won't be home until late on Friday, so I am thinking I will MAYBE go shopping on Saturday. Check that, we have the missionaries for dinner on Saturday, and a family coming over on Sunday to share dinner, so I am definitely going shopping on Saturday. Don't get me wrong though. We have a freezer full of the regular stuff, like all the meats and frozen veggies, but there is something about having an empty fridge that just makes me feel, well, lazy!
I wonder if I am getting a bit lazy. I imagine I would survive a grocery trip with all 3 kiddos.....I took them all to church by myself and lived to tell the tale (barely). Truly my biggest excuse has been that I don't want to take Sarah out in the cold too much, but that is easily remedied and I DO have a blanket or two for her. Yep. Lazy.
I have gotten a couple of cute pics of the kiddos, though. Let's see, DB lost his first TOP tooth on New Year's Day (that is how we celebrate the new year....ripping parts of our kids bodies off.....we are out of the running for parents of the year already?) JT is just as cute and busy as ever, and I just had to take him oustide and run around the other day. It had been the whole "bull in the china shop" kind of day. In his pic he looks like some wierd advertisement for Redbox. And our little princess, in her cute little dress......what can I say.

It is almost freeky to look at Sarah! I feel like I am looking at your's and my baby pictures! Seriously...it freeks me out! But, in a good way because she is a doll! She sure is getting to be a little chunker! :D Love ya!
I LOVE the pictures! It is great that things seem to be going so well for you. The kids are all growing too fast and are so cute!
We wish WE were the ones coming over for Sunday dinner... Yes, we still miss you guys tons.
Looks & sounds like you guys are doing well....other than the grocery shopping part! ;) Your baby is SOOO adorable!!! Miss you guys! (especially since b-ball is starting up!)
Cute pictures! Happy New Year to you!
Funny, I was complaining to Dianne about how much I hated grocery shopping with all the kids (Isaac is a TERROR) and she said that she goes at like 11 pm because it's the only time. I tried it...and it was awesome! No one there. The shelves were stocked...guessing they stock really late at night. In and out just like that. Maybe try that!
It looks like you're doing well! Give your kiddos an extra squeeze from Aunt Rachel. Sarah is such a cutie! I NEED to squeeze her cheeks :)
Love the pictures. I didn't leave the house with 3 for six months so I think you should just make the missionarys eat what you have. Haha. Just tell them you have been hunkering down for the winter. ;)
I can't believe how big Sarah is! And I LOVE the expression on Jarom's face. You can tell he loves the mischief! Oh, we miss you guys! Are you going to be able to come to Rick's wedding????
Oh my goodness! So very Cute! I totally agree with Angela, Sarah looks alot like your baby pictures! You can definitly tell that she is your little girl! :) Love it! She is to cute! And so are the boys! I miss them all!!! Miss you too! Love ya!
um...i'm not quite getting the 'bull in the china shop' remark. Maybe I've been away from the china shops for too long, but the bulls are only golden idols that people try to worship. Can you elaborate a little more please?
Angela is right, it looks kind of strange to be looking at your daughter who looks just like the baby you. It's like the baby you has been jolted through a time warp to reach our time. Kind of cool!
So fun to get caught up on your family. Such adorable kids!!! My goodness. I remember the feeling of not wanting to brave the store with 3 little ones and wait for the hubby to be home. Good luck with all that! Sure love you guys and miss seeing you. Take care and Happy New Year!
